Jane Wallis had two paintings accepted into the exhibit -- Afternoon Stillness at the Dock and Lopez Island Landing. Afternoon Stillness at the Dock was awarded Best of Show.

Here, emphasis will be made on the separation of values and the use of edges prior to the introduction of color. Jane will demonstrate how to make use of pressure and the shape of the pastel itself in working on an abrasive surface. She will then demo the addition of color and ways to apply color.
